Philippians 4:4
"Rejoice in the Lord always, I will say it again: Rejoice!"
I found myself early to rise this morning. My mind unable to rest, my thoughts continually on a young boy with cancer. I open the Word of Truth to Philippians 4:4-How can this be? How can we rejoice in sickness and a hopeless diagnosis? He simply responds, we can rejoice that no matter what the circumstance that God is ultimately GOOD! The good news of Christ is alive and active. It is active in our circumstances no matter the world's prognosis. He is calling us to look beyond what we see with our eyes and see through eyes of faith. Faith, that is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see (Heb 11). It's pressing in to know the Father's heart for us-no matter the situation we find ourselves in. It's believing that He has all the answers and we can rest in His love for us. So rejoice today that God is good and His love and mercy endures forever.
